What sets me apart?
I believe that my approach to Information Technology is one that is very practical. Unlike many of my peers, I realize that technology is most effective when the system designed meets time and budget constraints. This involves communication with the team I will be working with to learn their needs and goals. Sometimes this means suggesting lower cost and time saving alternatives, while other times suggesting extending budgets to ensure the solution developed can meet needs for years to come. I always budget the time to document projects when I give a time estimate. Since I’m an individual who always strives to grow knowledge, I don’t consider documentation a job threat, but simply a way to ensure that my work continues to satisfy needs in my absence. Unlike many, I don’t hide myself online, the email used in my resume makes it obvious where my online blog is kept. This is so the interviewer can learn a little about me personally to see how well I would fit in with the team I’ll be working with.
